Plaintiff, the United States of America on behalf of Farmers Home Administration (“FmHA”), brings this suit seeking judgment against defendant John Nelson, Jr. and in rem judgment against the Succession of Ernestine Garner Nelson on two promissory notes signed by the Nelsons and seeking recognition of four chattel mortgages secur*1138ing payment of the notes.
