The question involved in this appeal is whether the estate of Mrs. Mamie B. Driver, deceased, is liable to the General Motors Acceptance Corporation (referred to in the briefs as GMAC) for certain liabilities of the Driver Chevrolet Company, an Arkansas corporation, formerly engaged in the retail automobile business in Osceola, Arkansas.

The Driver Company, referred to in the contracts between the parties as the dealer, sold automobiles to various persons under conditional sales contracts, reserving the title, which contracts were sold and assigned to GMAC, with a guaranty of payment. Various…
