The bill prays that defendant Wolf,, lessor, and defendant Jacobs, lessee, interplead that it may be determined to whom plaintiff shall pay money deposited with it pursuant to the lease.

The lease, made in March, 1928, covers a two-story brick building in Lansing, and is for a term of ten years for a total sum of $54,000, payable $450 per month.

The question is on the following from the lease:

“The said party of the second part (Jacobs), in order to secure the performance of the terms, covenants and conditions of this lease, agrees to deposit with the Central Trust Company of Lansing, Michigan,…
