The defendant was convicted of grand larceny.
The evidence of the state was directed to showing that the defendant and others attended a supper and dance near Hillsboro in Lawrence county on Thanksgiving night in 1921, that defendant while dancing with Dade Swope took from his vest) pocket a gold watch of the value of $45, the xiersonal property of said Dade Swoxie.
