At its core, this case is a straightforward, one-count action for breach of contract in which Plaintiff John R. Kolb, Jr. sues his former employer, ACRA Control Ltd. (“ACRA Ireland”), an Irish company. Yet, corporate acquisitions and later contractual relationships add complexity and, as a result, issues have arisen with regard to whether the contract at issue has expired and if not, what companies may be liable under that contract.
