John Tucker, alias Johnny Lawson, was convicted of bigamy. His exception is to the judgment overruling his motion for a new trial.
Mrs.-Alice Kutz-Lawson testified: that she married the defendant on May 24, 1930; that after she heard that the defendant had “married this Cash woman” on June 10, 1930, “he said he had been living with her, but was not married to her;” and that when witness talked to him after he had been put in jail, “he said he did not realize what he was doing when he married her.” J.
