. Appeal from, a judgment rendered upon a verdict. This action was brought by Catharine N. Forest against her husband, Edwin Forest, to procure a divorce on the ground of adultery. The .answer denied the charges of the complaint, and set up recriminatory charges of adultery alleged to have been committed by the plaintiff, upon which the defendant prayed to be divorced from her.

after disposing of the twenty-three points urged by defendant upon his exceptions to the rulings respecting the evidence upon the issues.

*149The defendant insists that the court erred, in allowing testimony to be given tending to show the value of the defendant’s real estate, and in submitting to the jury the question what amount of alimony ought to be allowed to the plaintiff.
