KRAVITCH, Circuit Judge:

This appeal presents three issues of first impression in this circuit, affecting the administration of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, 18 U.S.C. §§ 5031-5042. We must decide: (1) whether a district court's order denying a juvenile defendant’s motion to strike certification and granting the government’s motion to transfer is appealable prior to trial; (2) the standard of review for certifications under section 5032; and (3) the extent to which findings of fact must be made in connection with a transfer under section 5032.
