The plaintiff FoodScience Corporation (FoodScience) has invoked the court’s diversity jurisdiction to recover for commercial defamation, alleging wrongdoing by the defendant McGraw-Hill, Inc., in its publication of two related writings in Medical World News of January 21, 1980. The defendant has responded by way of a motion for summary judgment.
