RIVES, Circuit Judge.

Appellant was convicted on five counts of an indictment brought under Section 545 of Title 18 United States Code. 1 He was sentenced to imprisonment for eighteen months and fined $1500.00. Each count charged that the appellant, on a certain specified date, fraudulently and knowingly concealed and facilitated the transportation and concealment of a certain number of Charolaise cattle, knowing the same to have been theretofore imported and brought into the United States contrary to law.
