ALLEN SHARP, District Judge.

Petitioner Eugene Bowers, a pro se prisoner confined at the Indiana State Prison, filed this petition for writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C 2254 challenging his 2000 conviction for robbery. The petitioner is a convicted felon serving a thirty-two year sentence imposed on January 12, 2001, by an Indiana court on charges of robbery. The sentence was enhanced because the jury found that the petitioner was an habitual offender.
