This appeal presents for review an order of the superior court of Cook county, denying the motion and petition of Abe Byer and Jennie Byer, defendants herein, to vacate a judgment by confession theretofore entered against them on November 2, 1928, in the sum of $26,236.62.

Their petition, filed January 15, 1930, and subsequently amended, sets forth in substance that judgment was entered on the second day of November, 1928, as heretofore stated, upon 10 principal promissory notes aggregating $22,000, which together with interest and attorney’s fees, comprises the amount of the judgment; that…
