I. INTRODUCTION

The plaintiff Bose Corporation (“Bose”) brought an action against the defendant Lightspeed Aviation, Inc. (“Lightspeed”) for patent infringement, claiming that Lightspeed’s sales of its Zulu ANR Aviation headset (the “Zulu headset”) infringed upon Bose-owned U.S. Patent No. 5,181,-252, entitled “High Compliance Headphone Driving” (the “'252 patent”).
