delivered the unanimous Opinion of the Court.
This action is for the recovery in behalf of the State of South Carolina of the penalties which are imposed under the terms of section 7769 of the Code of 1942, recoverable of a foreign corporation (doing business in the state) failing to file the papers required and to pay the fees provided by the terms of the five preceding sections of the Code, the contents of which will be more fully referred to hereinafter. The prayer was for the amount of $7,300.00, being the aggregate of a daily penalty of $10.00 for the two years…
