SKINNER, District Judge.
On February 16,1989, Joanne Cuoco (the “plaintiff”) filed a complaint in a state court against NYNEX, Inc., d/b/a New England Telephone and Telegraph Company (NYNEX) and Blue Cross of Massachusetts, Inc. (“Blue Cross”) claiming that the defendants had engaged in a course of conduct which wrongfully deprived her of medical, dental, and vision care coverage.
