The plaintiff (appellee) took passage at night on the defendant’s (appellant’s) train from Grenada to Torrance, holding a ticket for the latter place. Shortly before the train arrived at Torrance the conductor became involved in an altercation with some emigrants, who by mistake had gotten upon the wrong train, and also with a passenger who, without .authority, had pulled the hell-rope and thereby stopped the cars.
