Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County, rendered June 6, 1977, convicting him of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and reckless endangerment in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, without a hearing, of defendant’s motion to *657dismiss the indictment on the ground of denial of a speedy trial as required by statute and the due process clauses of the State and Federal Constitutions.
