This is a suit in which plaintiff claims that his title to a certain 40-acre tract of land in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, has been slandered by defendant, his divorced wife. After proceedings which included filing of certain technical pleadings and application for writs of certiorari, prohibition and mandamus, refused by the Supreme Court on the ground that the writs were taken from interlocutory proceedings, and a new trial granted on application for a rehearing of the cause, there was judgment recognizing plaintiff as the sole owner of the property, and further ordering the cancellation and…
