This is an appeal by the United States from a judgment entered by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Knapp, /.), setting aside a jury verdict, convicting Jerome Wallace of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 1344, and of conspiracy to use, and the use of, extortionate means to collect on an extension of credit, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 894.
