Lavon Hurst and Gary Palmer were found guilty by a jury of two counts of robbery and one count of committing a felony while armed. Palmer was sentenced to concurrent terms of 30 years for the first robbery, 20 years for the second and 5 years for the firearms violation. Hurst was sentenced to concurrent terms of 50 years for the first robbery, 20 years for the second and 5 years for the firearms violation. Hurst appeals the action of the court in imposing sentence.
