This case is before the court for a declaratory judgment to resolve certain insurance coverage questions which arose out of an accident involving a rented vehicle. Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company (Hartford), the petitioner, is the insurer of the family automobile of the lessee, Walter Neighbors. Liberty Mutual Insurance Company (Liberty), the respondent, is the insurer of the lessor of the vehicle, Koons Leasing Co., Inc.
