Gary Lee Miller appeals from an order dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The issue is whether Miller was detained by Columbia County authorities in violation of the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act, sec. 976.03, Stats. We conclude that there was no violation of the act, and we therefore affirm.
Miller was stopped in Columbia County for a traffic violation on November 10, 1984. He was arrested when a computer check revealed the existence of an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by the State of California. A contemporaneous search of Miller's vehicle turned up twenty…
