¶1 James Ralph Hendershot III (Hendershot) was charged with felony aggravated assault, felony assault with a weapon, and misdemeanor partner or family member assault after a physical altercation with his wife, Denise. As a result of these charges, the Twenty-First Judicial District Court, Ravalli County, revoked Hendershot’s deferred sentence for a previous felony theft conviction and sentenced him to ten years at Montana State Prison (MSP) with five years suspended.
