Matador Holdings, Inc., d/b/a Davis-Dyar Supply Company (“Matador”), and HoPo Realty Investments, L.L.C. (“HoPo”), have filed separate appeals challenging elements of an order entered by the Lee Circuit Court in a proceeding involving commercial property owned by HoPo. Matador, which is in the business of selling building materials, sued HoPo and HoPo’s lessee, Stratford Plastic Components of Alabama (“Stratford”), seeking payment for materials and services Matador provided Stratford at commercial property owned by HoPo.1 The issues at trial and to be resolved on appeal center…
