Simons, J.

Defendant has been adjudicated a youthful offender upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of criminally negligent homicide. He appeals to this court from an order of the Appellate Division affirming the judgment, contending that the procedure employed by the trial court in trying him and a codefendant together before separate juries was unauthorized and unconstitutional.
