This is an appeal from a decree of the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia dismissing a bill of complaint filed by the appellants as plaintiffs below against the appellees as defendants below. The bill sought specific performance of an alleged contract for a lease of a hotel and for a sale of the furniture, fixtures and equipment — hereinafter referred to as furnishings. The bill sought also to set aside a foreclosure sale, made under certain deeds of trust, of the furnishings and of a lease of the hotel. The case was. heard on the merits.1 Each of the two…
