The defendant was tried and convicted in a nonjury trial in the Superior Court on three counts of a five count indictment charging him with obtaining money from another by means of false pretenses in violation of G. L. 1956 (1969 Reenactment) §11-41-4. The case is here on the defendant’s appeal.
