The sole plaintiff in the present action is, and is described as, the administrator with the will annexed on the estate of Eli D. Preston, late of Farmington, deceased. The defendants, seven in number, are alleged to claim interest in certain land by virtue of a deed of conveyance made, ■signed and acknowledged, by said Eli D.
