The defendant, Gary Fecteau, was convicted of one count of aggravated felonious sexual assault, one count of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, and two counts of burglary, following a jury trial in the Superior Court {Nadeau, J.). He was sentenced to seven and one-half to fifteen years for each assault *863conviction, and three and one-half to seven years for each burglary conviction, all terms to be served consecutively in the New Hampshire State Prison.
