Plaintiff brought suit in the circuit court of Cook county against Bowman Dairy Company, a corporation, Edward Kaveny, Sr., and Edward Kaveny, Jr., to recover damages for injuries sustained through the alleged negligent operation of an automobile belonging to the Bowman Dairy Company. At the close of the evidence the trial court directed the jury to return a verdict of not guilty as to defendants Edward Kaveny, Sr., and Bowman Dairy Company. The jury returned a verdict finding Edward Kaveny, Jr., guilty and assessing plaintiff’s damages in the sum of $5,000. Judgment was entered as to both…
