Norris v. Thomas
Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit
1Per curiam
Debtor-appellants Thomas and Karen Norris challenge the bankruptcy court’s holding that, under Texas law, their boat may riot be considered a homestead and is therefore not exempt from creditors in bankruptcy. As this case presents a novel question of Texas state law, which is dis-positive of the entire case, we respectfully certify the question to the Texas Supreme Court.
