This case involves an appeal by the plaintiff from the trial court’s judgment granting a motion for summary judgment. For the reasons that follow, the judgment is affirmed.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

The plaintiff, Derrick Reaux, filed suit against Deep South Equipment Company (“Deep South”) and Hyster Company (“Hyster”) in connection with an accident that occurred in the course and scope of his employment.
