Appellant, Stephen Lee Glacken (“Glacken”), appeals pro se from the December 29, 2010 order dismissing his first petition pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act (“PCRA”), 42 Pa.C.SA. §§ 9541-9546. We quash.

The record reveals that Glacken pled guilty on May 11, 2009, to simple assault, harassment, and bad checks.1 While out on bail awaiting sentencing, Glacken was charged with a new count of simple assault, to which he also pled guilty.
