Jerry Larry Collier (plaintiff) brought a false imprisonment action against the former Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Corrections and the former Warden of Georgia State Prison (defendants). The parties filed opposing motions for summary judgment and the trial court denied plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment and granted defendants’ motion for summary judgment.
