This case is before the Court upon the appeal of Brenda Katherine Mitchell. On April 26, 2002, Ms. Mitchell was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court of Wood County of the felony offenses of unlawful assault and wanton endangeianent involving a firearm. On July 8, 2002, she was sentenced concurrently to a term of not less than one year nor more than five years for unlawful assault and to a term of four years for wanton endangerment involving a firearm.
