After he was indefinitely suspended from his employment as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”), Paul Edmonds brought suit against Georgia Tech and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (“Board of Regents”).
