In 1912, appellant became a member of respondent, a fraternal organization with insurance features, having subordinate lodges or camps in various states of the Union, and one at Holly Hill, S. C., known as Holly Camp No. 148, and it was through this local camp that appellant joined this association, and there was issued to him a certificate of membership in the face amount of $1,500.00.
