Proceeding pursuant to *953CPLR article 78 (transferred to this court by order of the Supreme Court at Special Term, entered in Schenectady County) to review a determination of the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Scotia suspending the petitioner, without pay, for a period of two months after hearing pursuant to section 75 of the Civil Service Law. Petitioner has held the position of Chief of the Fire Department of the Village of Scotia since 1969, and has been a paid member of the fire department since 1950.
