There was no demurrer to tlie petition ; and as no question has been raised on the sufficiency of the pleadings, I will pass them over with tlie single remark that they are objectionable on account of their vagueness and uncertainty. The acts of cruelty, with specifications as to time, piace, <fcc., should be stated, that the defendant may know what he is called upon to answer, and the court be apprised of the issues between the parties.
