MYERS, Associate Judge.

For review here is an order holding appellant in contempt and committing him to-jail for 180 days for failure to provide support for the four minor children of the parties as directed by the court.

The history of this case reveals a failure by appellant from the beginning to fully comply with the court order for support of his family. The initial order was entered ex parte and without his attendance to testify as to his financial status at the time. Six weeks later he was found in contempt by reason of arrears. A specific finding was made that he had the ability to pay.…
