Under an intervening petition filed in this, a proceeding to wind up defendant bank as an insolvent corporation, it appears that, at the date of insolvency found, a note to the hank as payee, to mature approxi*183mately three months thereafter, had been executed by McNichols Art Shop and Mrs. J. A. McNichols, whose signatures were appended as if both were makers, and that the first (the trade name of R. T. P.
