Presently before this court for disposition are two motions for summary judgment filed on behalf of defendant, Farmers Fire Insur*196anee Company. In the motions, defendant avers that the plaintiffs, Jesse and Joanne Risha, and the Bortz Corporation, are unable to adduce sufficient evidence on issues essential to their cases, on which they bear the burden of proof, such that a jury could render a verdict in their favor. Therefore, defendant argues that it is entitled to judgment as a matter of law.
