Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for King county, Prater, J., entered August 13,1917, upon granting a nonsuit, dismissing an action for personal injuries sustained by an employee engaged in unloading a vessel.

This action was brought by appellant to recover damages from respondent on account of injuries received by him while employed as a seaman on one of respondent’s vessels engaged in commerce within the territory of Alaska and between ports thereof and the state of Washington. The accident which caused the injury complained of occurred while the appellant was assisting in unloading cargo at the port of Cordova, in the territory of Alaska.
