|,Appellant Barney Lee Doles entered a plea of guilty to one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and he was subsequently sentenced by a Clark County jury to forty years’ imprisonment. Pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738, 87 S.Ct. 1396, 18 L.Ed.2d 493 (1967), and Ark. Sup.Ct. R. 4-3(k) (2011), counsel for Doles has filed a no-merit appeal and has asked to be relieved as counsel in the case.
