Appellant, Donald Turnage, appeals a take-nothing summary judgment rendered against him. We affirm.

Background

This lawsuit arises out of a confrontation between Turnage and off-duty Houston Police Department (HPD) Officer Borza in an apartment complex at about 2:30 in the morning. Appellee JPI MultiFamily, Inc. (JPI) managed the apartment complex, and Borza provided security for the apartments.
