—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Appelman, J.), rendered April 2, 1987, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

On the instant appeal, the defendant argues that he was deprived of a fair trial by the introduction into evidence of approximately $1,593 of currency which was found on his person at the time of his arrest for the mere possession of drugs. This argument has not been preserved for appellate review (CPL 470.05 [2]).…
