POLITAN, District Judge.
This matter comes before the Court on an application for a preliminary injunction by Plaintiff, Dam Things from Denmark a/k/a Troll Company ApS (“Plaintiff’ or “Dam”). Plaintiff brought this action by way of an Order to Show Cause filed on August 22, 2001. Plaintiff seeks to enjoin Defendant, Russ Berrie & Company, Inc. (“Defendant” or “Russ”) from infringing its copyrights, importing infringing troll dolls, continuing to represent itself as the “original” troll doll creator, and maintaining its copyright registrations.
