Defendants have moved for rehearing following an order by this Court 1 granting plaintiff statutory interest on the judgment computed from the date the suit was filed. Due to the significance of the issue raised in defendants’ motions, we have concluded that the matter is best disposed of by full opinion rather than by summary order. The instant opinion is, therefore, filed.

The issue raised may he simply put: How is interest to he computed on damages awarded in a wrongful death action?
