As is so frequently the case, the legal interest of the questions involved in this proceeding far transcends the comparatively insignificant monetary amounts involved in the determination.
The testatrix died in September, 1931, leaving a will, probated about two months later, by the terms of which the residue of her estate was given to her husband, Samuel Gordon, to two named brothers and a niece, in equal shares.
