[¶ 1] A jury awarded Donna Seabury-Peterson and her husband, Joseph Peterson, more than $1.1 million in damages for the negligence of Kristen K. Jhamb, M.D. and Mid Coast Medical Group (collectively Mid Coast) in failing to diagnose Donna’s recurrent breast cancer, which had metastasized to her bones.
